PIPPA ASHWORTH | LANDSCAPE ARTIST
ART
To view Pippa’s painting is to witness a deep respect and appreciation of the finest details in Nature and Landscape.
Influenced by her childhood upbringing in the wild beauty of Cornwall, and influenced by her landscape and portrait artist grandmother, Pippa developed a deep relationship with the natural environment and technical painting skills that she continues to develop and evolve.
Pippa’s passion for the complexity of tangled textures in overgrown, untamed places and the impact of transient of light and seasonal change on them is evident throughout her work. She has an immense capacity for observing moments in time and place, and talent for responding to them with sensitive attention to detail and ephemeral interpretation.
